So does NowDocs.com based in san mateo. though i am not sure if they are still in business. but kinkos is. and its not just PDFs. they will print any matter and do all sorts of fancy stuff with it if you desire. Though I am not clear why one should have a problem printing it if they could download it and have the right printer. Also, can take it on a disc to the nearest print center and get it printed on the spot. probably will take lesser time than uploading. maybe I work in a commercial area that has tons of such printers at an arms length, upto a saturation point. There is Fort/Andheri Station/Borivali, to name a few. what would work is if the data or manual is too big to download and instead of uploading it to the printer's site, we could only provide a URL and they do the downloading and printing, then it would be something to consider. these were just my opinions. facts will be posted by the next poster. :) __________________________________ Yahoo! For those who still install windos on their client machines and think that worms and viri cause only software on the pc to be damaged. http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/05_22/b3935001_mz001.htm Windose users are actually abetting criminals indirectly. And Installers particularly those on this list are doing so directly by installing the stuff after being fully aware of the problems. And the banks and financial institutions all running windose. We are lucky cause the value of the rupee is 1/47 of the dollar so for the same effort the criminal earns 47 times more targeting US and Eur. rgds jtd

Micronet ADSL Modem setup

Hi! I use FC3 at home and I have taken a Touchtel/Airtel DSL Connection. The trouble is that I want to use my Micronet USB ADSL Broadlink SP3302 Modem in Linux. This modem comes with drivers only for Windows. I checked the manufacturer's website. Though they want their products to work with Linux, they donot support Linux(??). I have also checked the eciadsl Linux driver page. No mention of Micronet's products over there either. This modem connects directly to the USB port and does not go through an Ethernet card. Can you help me use this modem in Linux? What do I need to do? Thanx John

But i should be able to make it whiz with some floppy based linux. Also i remember having to do a low level format on the 10MB drives before partitioning. One method was to run debug and jmp to 0x5c ( afair). This would start a low level format. Also have a massive hard drive with a transparent top which lets u see the inside of the drive, platter, filters, head et al. connectors are oxidised tho. Should keep all the junk running.
