Sharing Internet

Hi, I have install RH 9 on one of my computer. I could connect Internet through Reliance Mobile. Now I could share browsing by squid. Now I want to share mail also. How can I allow client computers to check their pop3 mail by using Netscape Messanger or Mozilla Messenger ? Please reply Neelesh

Gentoo Linux + KDE 3.4 + Nokia 3650 + Bluetooth

Hello folks, As mentioned in the subject, I have Gentoo Linux 2005.0 running KDE 3.4.2. I happen to have a Nokia 3650 phone. For a long time, I've wanted to be able to transfer images, videos etc from the phone to my Linux box and vice-versa via Bluetooth. I tried to get this setup working a few days ago and found success. If anyone is interested in how I managed this, tell me so and I'll post the entire thing here. Regards, Mrugesh Karnik

HI all, does anybody have any idea how google.com/linux <http://google.com/linux>search restricts the search to linux specific sites.. does it use keywords related to linux and automatically checks if any one of them is there in the page.. and if anybody has used it effectively what sort of value add does it offer over the normal search.. i mean wat places does it help the most... Need help with converting a wave file to mp3 using LAME...

Hi I have a wave file with this format. REC02.WAV: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, IMA ADPCM, mono 8000 Hz When I try to convert it using lame, it gives this error Warning: corrupt or unsupported WAVE format Assuming raw pcm input file Any ideas how to get lame to recognize this format? Logical answer is borrow wildly and spend like crazy - just find some poor idiot country like Japan whose national propensity to save is so high that they have to look around for countries to indebt themselves too, they have so much of the green stuff coming out of their ears. Point being, don't fall too easily for the nostrum that the economy progresses because some people who are a part of it are making money. -- Vickram
